Split Complementary - Beautiful Bedroom

Split Complementary - Beautiful bedroom

Here you can see a Split Complementary colour scheme.
Choosing the colour red with the two colours that are directly opposite,
which are blue green and yellow green on the colour wheel.

You may see this scheme looking similar to a symmetrical room,
but take a closer look......
It's an Asymmetrical balance
because the positioning of the different shaped photo frames on the wall shelves,
the wooden step and the toy box
either side of the french style bed breaks the balance.

The beautiful visual painted mural adds interest
to the back wall and ceiling.
Doesn't it make you want to catch one of those butterflies
and smell the variety of flowers?
Incorporating pops of pattern and colour in the duvet set adds
more visual interest too.

The inclusion of curved lines & edges of the bed heads compliment the curved
edge of the indent mural featured wall, which creates depth and interest
and providing a good space to position the bed. A beautiful bedroom for a girl.
